Messages on the go, clearer workspace controls

Get updates in your paired Messages chat, choose workspace-funded models, and manage team connections and published work with clearer scope.

2 November 2026

Team work is easier to manage and find. You get clearer control over workspace-funded models and connections, eligible published outputs stay with the team, and learning and usage are easier to check. Away from your desk, ask your connected agent to text an update to your own Messages conversation.

Messages updates on the go

Ask your agent to text an update from a supported owner chat or schedule. Connect Messages first; delivery goes to your paired conversation.

A morning schedule can text your daily plan. Replies continue in Messages, not the original thread. This owner-only destination does not cover other contacts, groups or shared-agent runs. Normal delivery limits apply.

Models and integrations for your workspace

Owners can choose which language models workspace spending can fund in workspace or organization settings under Models. Applicable restrictions combine, including for supported Auto selections; personally funded work is unaffected. Choose at least one allowed model.

Account menu → Integrations identifies the active workspace destination. New team-owned connections are available for teams created after November 4, 2026 at 08:00 UTC. Older teams without existing accounts use the marked Personal destination. Newly enabled Shared Billing defaults workspace billing on when no prior organization choice exists; existing choices remain unchanged.

Published team outputs that stay usable

Ask an agent to publish an eligible workspace-owned output from an existing supported team conversation. Colleagues can maintain existing links where permitted, including restrictions and unpublication. File readers can open restricted workspace-owned links.

This covers eligible existing outputs, not a new room-conversation launch. Existing sponsor-owned links do not move automatically, and publication does not add a file to the workspace Library. The web controls manage existing links; first publication of these outputs happens through the agent.

Additional improvements

Find and review work

  • Team documents: Find accessible shared team-conversation documents in team Library and Cmd+K, excluding room history.
  • Workspace search: Personal Library stays personal; Cmd+K documents follow your active workspace.
  • Recent learnings: Knowledge and eligible Inbox/Command Center indicators count the last 14 days. Older suggestions remain available.
  • Subagent usage: Usage breakdown shows Subagents when attributed billable usage exists, including supported browser-model costs.
  • Evaluations: Ordinary evaluations default to latest Haiku, consider available recorded tool results and identify the judge alongside scores.
  • Wiki upkeep: Eligible standard schedules with learning enabled maintain accessible wiki pages; history names the schedule. Live runs are separate.
  • Library references: Saved for this agent and From tasks separate reusable references from task files.
  • Bookmarks: Library’s Source filter distinguishes Bookmarked from Saved; actions say Bookmark or Remove bookmark.

Configure and collaborate

  • Room automations: Approval cards name existing destination rooms. Participation and agent-edit access apply; approval does not guarantee delivery.
  • GitHub writes: Choose Selected under Allow writes for individual actions within enabled toolsets and repository access.
  • Read-only delegation: Eligible schedules and Live runs collect permitted specialists’ answers without widening writes.
  • Approval choices: Thread settings show effective Ask first/Auto and the agent default for future turns.
  • Owner continuations: In-thread web approvals and queued owner replies preserve interactive tools, not unrestricted writes.
  • Member removal: Organization owners can take over blocking teams or delete otherwise single-member teams.
  • Disconnected automations: Eligible incoming events continue; owners receive a Disconnected Inbox item. Paused work and disconnected-account actions remain restricted.

Create and keep working

  • GPT Image 2.6: Generate/edit with Flare or Sunburst on web; explicit saved GPT Image 2.5 choices remain.
  • Focused research: Give web search a source objective, or focus page-reading highlights on your question.
  • Gmail aliases: Request verified send-as aliases with Read, draft & send access and ordinary approvals.
  • Dictation: Supported web browsers try their preferred language, falling back to English when rejected.
  • Shell work: Busy tasks interfere less; check or stop background commands before the run ends.
  • Long conversations: Supported agents handle lowered compaction settings and retry nearly-full conversations, with bounded recovery.
  • Telegram: Pause/resume without disconnecting; eligible interrupted replies recover automatically, without replay guarantees.
  • Saved links: Supported recovered Slack/Telegram replies and quoted room references retain usable links under existing access rules.
  • Downloads: Document/table exports and generated-file browser downloads retain accented and non-Latin filenames, subject to cleanup.
  • MCP approvals: Authorized clients decide supported network requests; room-held or incomplete requests stay in Hyperagent.
  • MongoDB Atlas: Connect/reconnect using a service account with intended project and cluster permissions.
  • Session continuity: Eligible work can refresh near-expiring sessions; supported broad crawls get connection improvements. Interruptions remain possible.
